Servanthood

The example of Jesus Christ—and the life of his Spirit in us—radically reorients us from an ego-centric way of life to a life lived for others. Jesus said “The Son of Man didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) The life of following Jesus Christ is a life that is given away, for when we give our lives away, we find them again.
